Ready for the launch
an entire application built from scratch
After a few months working on the travel application, it’s time to test the same before launch in a couple of weeks.
I would like to share some of my learnings which may also help you. While applications are very complex, keep all the complexity in the back-end, For the users, it is KISS. Keep It Simple Stupid!

For this application, the home page is the 2nd page, not the 1st. The 1st page is for the travel agencies, suppliers and the application owner to login or register, after which, they land on the home page.
This is to ensure that the offerings, prices etc. remains exclusively for the travel trade.
Next is the team invite and external invites: an invite can be sent within a travel agency or travel company or, as an app owner you can send the invite your entire travel agencies database.

One can create 000’s of holidays, each taking a few minutes so that rest of the process gets automated. Imagine saving thousands of man hours, automating the manual processes which were inevitable to the entire team.
Imagine yourself NOT adding margins, sending quotes, emailing, creating PDFs, re-quoting, back and forth for each of the query. It needs to be configured only once. The application takes care of most the scenarios and not much manual intervention necessary. Be it quotes, vouchers, invoices, confirmations.
