Can artificial intelligence help travel companies?
AI based Chatbots are taking over every industry, how about the travel industry?
IMAGINE for a moment, a traveller has a website ( yours!) that will give out a detailed itinerary for what to see and do on their next trip – by just entering the destination, dates and how long they are staying. In less than 45 seconds, they get a day-by-day itinerary filled with where to go when, places to eat, and more.
That’s just an example. But, what if such a tool is given in your hands which can give such details and more: like prices? Where you can suggest itineraries which are most popular, which sell the most and which you can recommend?
Is this scenario far-fetched? Expensive? Useful?
Last weekend, I spent time building something basic to understand the nitti-gritties from the tech side.
I tried out 7 itineraries and it was just a beginning. I see much potential in AI and it’s use in the travel industry and it would be visible sooner than later.
